BF3 – DICE Confirms Patch For USAS-12 Equipped With FRAG Rounds and More

Battlefield 3 Updates in Black

DICE updates Battlefield 3 fans on the state of the USAS-12 shotgun equipped with FRAG rounds and announces an incoming fix.

DICE recently stated that they “will be correcting an issue in which the USAS-12 is more effective compared to other FRAG-equipped shotguns – In an upcoming update.” When exactly this update will be released has yet to be announced. But, it could be assumed that it will be included in the aforementioned February patch, at which point PS3 users will also be seeing a fix for VoIP issues.

Also confirmed is a fix for some “weird glitches” with the MG36 as well as the Recon and Support “gun glitches” found on the Back to Karkand maps. “Those will be fixed in the next patch,” stated DICE. You can read more about these and other glitches that DICE is currently looking into here.

When community manager, Daniel Matros, was asked if any more details of the upcoming patch could be released, he stated, “Can’t release them yet unfortunately.”
