Killzone 4 could be a launch title for the PlayStation 4, according to sources from VideoGamer.
According to these sources, the unannounced title said to be in development at Guerrilla Games could possibly be revealed during the PlayStation meeting this February 20, where Sony is expected to officially announce the “PlayStation 4.”
During the announcement of the PlayStation 3, similar circumstances occurred as a trailer was released for Killzone 2. Additionally, a solid shooter launching aside or close to the “PS4” launch would be likely considering the genre’s popularity.
The sources comments suggest that Killzone 4 could indeed be a title releasing in the launch window for the “PlayStation 4,” said to release by the end of 2013.
Killzone 3 was released on the PlayStation 3 in 2011.

killzone main gem to me is the Multiplayer Warzone mode. been playin fps mp on ps3 since 2008 and killzone 2 warzone mp mode was the best mp experience i ever had on ps3 second to bf3 and resistance 2 mp. playing with clan mates and the ease of scheduling clan matches/tournaments within kz2 clan system, those were great & fun times.
I was also reading the next Little Big Planet might make the launch window. if that’s the case, Sony would have a very formidable launch selection.
There many great titles that might be launch titles.. Infamous 3, uncharted 4, GT6 and many more!! I’m sure SONY isn’t going to release all there greatest exclusives for the launch of PS4 bit I’m sure we will see a couple of great one
It will look epic, play less then epic, and initially will be filled with epic bugs..that is my guess, and par for course with Sony.
lol the game isn’t even out and already judging the game!! Killzone 1, 2 and 3 are AMAZING games and I suspect 4 to be EPIC

Be sure that lots of last year titles will get like HD update say crysis 3 for example I bet it will get some update to max it graphics if there’s a PS4 tho
That would depend on how easy it would be to port the PC version to Next Gen Consoles
for the ps4 to run crysis 3 max, it’d need a 690. doubt sony will want to put a £400 card into a console.
People are so quick to judge games, it’s so stupid. They need to actually see the finished product before pointing fingers. I have faith in the guerilla studio.

The Killzone franchises always gave me a great single player experience. It wasn’t another point and shoot fps. It has its own unique game play that can’t be copied to another fps. I can replay the single player anytime and still feel refreshed. The multiplayer is another story. I can only play it for a couple of days before my game plays gets stel and boring. I always wanted more game modes to fit Killzone’s game mechanic more properly. Even though I’m an Xbox owner, I will prefer to play any PS3 exclusive game over a top rated Xbox exclusive game. Hell i pre ordered The Last Of Us even though I don’t have a PS3 atm.

errr wasnt it killzone 2 which was released on ps3 before killzone 3? my gut feeling is that it might be the other new FPS IP from GG being revealed/demo-ed along with PS4 reveal.. kz4 might be reveal in E3 or gamescom and released feb 2014 or later
Killzone2/3 are the most beautiful fps game ever created. Absolutely my favorite in the same range as BF3. and Killzone 4 will be Un-fucking believably mindblowing when it comes to PS4.
Tired of sequels honestly. This really isn’t exciting, I want new IPs.
