Arma 3 Beta Overview and Alpa Recap

In co-operation with Arma 3 developers Bohemia Interactive, YouTuber Dslyecxi of the Shack Tactical Arma community group has put together an informative video that recaps the Arma 3 alpha, some interesting community-made mods, and covers some of the new additions to the recently released Arma 3 beta.

There’s a lot to see in this first installment of his new series, so if you’re a big arma buff, check it out below and make sure to stick around for future episodes.

Arma 3 is shaping well up for an official launch later this year.

This is the best shooter of the year for me, i am sure a lot of people think i am wrong.

    • Nope, your right. Only people who would disagree are those without a gaming PC.

      • 3RDRANGER

I don’t exactly have a gaming PC yet, but ARMA 3 is still a great shooter.

    • No, it’s not going to gain mass amounts of popularity, but that says nothing of its quality. Its going to be (already is) an awesome game 🙂

  • If you have a gaming PC, like FPS/TPS, and have not tried Arma 3 yet.. DO IT NOW! Your missing out.

  • MC-ARNIE

The only reason I wish I had a gaming rig. Hate gaming with K&M. Feels unnatural to me, but this will be amazing!

    • Niosus

give it some time. After a week or 2 it will feel as natural as anything else. Especially for Arma it takes some extra time to learn the controls because there are so many things you can do.

      • MC-ARNIE

I used to pc game back in the days of doom, Duke nukem 3d etc. its just not comfortable for me at all I’m afraid 🙁

  • Mohammad Nassir

Damn .. that game looks real

  • Dean DeCosta

God, I wish I had $ for a gaming PC. This would be the only game I would play!

    • Dean DeCosta

Actually, I’d love it if some real ARMA players could offer a proper list of specs for a PC that will run ARMA III. Not a dream set up, but a solid one for folks on a budget.

In other words, what would it really take to be able to play this game, from a hardware standpoint?

I might have to start saving…!

      • ThePoolshark

i have an i5 2400 and a gtx 560ti, and I run it on very high/ultra settings with 50-60 fps. with every patch, my frames get better.

        • Oblivion_Lost667

You make me sad, I run a i7 3770k and GTX 690 and get 30-50 FPS on high. But ArmA is notorious for not liking multicore CPUs, and it doesn’t have any SLI support. Funnily enough, but FPS got worse after it switched to beta.
