Those hanging on to a shimmer of hope that Respawn’s debut first-person shooter might just make it’s way to Sony’s current- or next-generation platforms are in for a bit of a disappointment.

During the company’s Q2 FY14 financial results earnings call, video game publisher Electronic Arts confirmed that Titanfall will remain exclusive to the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC for, well, ever.

Titanfall “is exclusive only for the lifetime of the title on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC,” said CFO Blake Jorgensen during the call.

COO Peter Moore also dispelled all rumors that Titanfall is being rushed to the market for its recently announced March 11 release date, saying “no, we’re not doing that at all.” He anticipated that the game will review “very highly” come release.
