Titanfall on Xbox 360 Will Be The “True Experience”, Says Bluepoint Games

This Tuesday, April 8, developer Bluepoint Games will be launching the Xbox 360 version of Respawn Entertainment’s shooter, Titanfall.

Discussing the difficulties of bringing an experience like Titanfall on the Xbox One and PC to older hardware, Bluepoint Games senior producer Daryl Allison says that despite its limitations, “Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience.”

He adds that “all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions” will also be fully realized in the previous-generation version. “The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great.”

Weaker hardware does lead to a few compromises, however. “There are of course some differences that are due to the technical limitations of the hardware,” Allison explains. “For example, the game runs above 30fps – but the experts at Respawn worked with us to ensure that all the intense, 6v6 wall-running, titan-dropping action is there.”
