Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition Is Hitting Retailers May 16

Mid-May, the PlayStation 3 Edition  of the highly popular multiplayer sandbox title from Mojang and 4J Studios is hitting retailers.

Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition is already being played by 1.5 million users via the digital download version of the game. But those who prefer the physical disc can get their hands on one May 16.

It ships completely up to date with all the same content as the digital version, including Update 14.

According to Owen Hill of Mojang, the team at 4J is still working hard on bringing Minecraft to PS4 and PS Vita. “Sorry for the delay, but making Minecraft happen is serious business, he says.”
