Find Out How Many Squad Points it Takes To Unlock Everything in Call of Duty: Ghosts

Ever wonder exactly how many Squad Points it would take to unlock everything – all weapons, equipment, perks, and strike packages – in Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer?

Reddit user aWiseMoose has got it all figured out in a neatly presented spreadsheet.

If you don’t know, Squad Points are your currency in Ghosts’ multiplayer that are used to unlock anything and everything outside of your default class set up. Squad Points are easily earned by completing challenges and simply ranking up, but it can take a while to rack up enough to unlock absolutely everything Infinity Ward’s shooter has to offer.

To purchase every last item, including DLC weapons, you’d need exactly 2246 Squad Points, according to aWiseMoose’s math. What can you do with this information? We’re not really sure. It’s one of those, “now you know” things. Plus, this user put some work into his findings, so why not share it?

Oh that’s a lot. Sadly I can’t put up with the game anymore :(

  • Grunt0311

I’d rather play one of the dump copies of ET than put ghosts in my xbox again.

    • MrMultiPlatform

I love coming here to just see the children bash CoD for the likes & friendship they so desperately crave. I’ll see you at the midnight release of Sledgehammers CoD.

      • Grunt0311

Never been to a midnight release. I enjoy sleep too much. I wont buy sledgehammer’s at release though. I’m worried it’ll be too much like ghost.

      • Raymond Featherston

Yes, just because somebody vocally shows their dislike for CoD they must be 1: A child (that is funny, isn’t it usually children who do like CoD?) or 2: Seeking friendship. Your assertions are baseless and make no sense.

        • IceKoldKilla

One thing is showing dislike and another is saying ET on Atari 2600 is better which is FAAAAAAR from true. Clearly he hasn’t played ET.

    • Ricardo

Wow you must hate COD sooooooo much if you’re willing to play that stupid shit of a game…

      • Grif

You mean Ghosts right? I would have more fun playing ET.

        • Ricardo

Lol I have such a hard time believing anyone would play that game compared to Ghosts. I don’t enjoy Ghosts as much as the other CODs but come on you’d rather play and complete it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Bn192kSsMw

          • Grif

Haha ya I was joking about the ET thing, but not about Ghosts being complete shit in my opinion lol.

      • Grunt0311

        I enjoy cod. Except ghosts.

    • IceKoldKilla

Why do you exagerate so much? ET is one of the worst games ever and Ghosts is far from that! Stop jumping on the whole ET bandwagon! You probably didn’t even know about the game or even Atari a few years ago and just now you read it and act like you know. Have you even play ET on Atari? No, clearly you haven’t.

      • Grunt0311

It was a joke. Not a dick. Dont take it so hard.

If it wasn’t for 2xp & stubborn friends, I’d never go back to playing this. BF4 is working now, I say. But no one listens.

    • Perma

No one listens to you too?

      • Johnny Neat

That is correct. BF4, when it works, is a better game, but CoD beings back old memories and its design doesn’t ask for much. It’s the fast food of FPSs. BF4 requires too much for some.

        • MrMultiPlatform

          HOW?

          • Johnny Neat

            How what?

    • MeisseN

Yeah even a broken BF4 is better than a well-working Ghosts. Not to mention without the lag BF4 is so much more enjoyable, although still there are loads of bullshit going on.

  • awkenney

This is a great example of one thing that has gone wrong with FPS gaming today. Players place entirely too much value on earning things that will never ever help them be more effective at the core of the game. The other issue is the design of the game. COD places entirely too much value on the loadout rather than the skill of the player (at least since MW2, IMO). Titanfall tries to make the game entirely too accessible to as wide of an audience as possible. BF4′s broken scoring system in its most popular game type doesn’t encourage capturing objectives nearly enough.
Say what you will, but I really miss the days when games were allowed to be a friendly competition.

      Hi five!

  • IceKoldKilla

Do you unlock everything when reaching top rank like in BO2? I’d hate to reach Prestige 10, Level 60 one day and find out I still need SP although maybe I won’t need SP. Just curious.

    • Perma

Yep even if your the top level and prestige you still need SP to unlock everything else.
