Evolution Studios is giving racer fans a couple of options when it comes to how you want to play their upcoming next-gen PlayStation 4 driving game, Driveclub.

According to community development manager Jamie Brayshaw, gamers will be able to pick up Driveclub on October 7 in one of two different ways; the standard Blu-ray disc edition, or the digital PlayStation Plus Edition, the latter of which is free.

The PlayStation Plus Edition “comes with one location (India), 11 tracks, 10 cars and access to all game modes,” writes Brayshaw. It’s “designed to be a quick and easy way for gamers all over the world to join the Driveclub community. You can take part in all the game modes, set, send and compete in challenges, and race online against others in the Driveclub community.”

Should you want to upgrade to the full experience after taking the free digital edition for a test drive, you can pay up the one-time $49.99 fee to get access to all five locations, 55 tracks, 50 cars, and all 50 tour events. Your PlayStation Plus subscription must remain active, however.

We recently learned that Driveclub will run at 1080p and 30 frames per second on the PlayStation 4. Director Paul Rustchynsky explains why.
