Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s latest developer diary dives into the animation and art direction in Sledgehammer Games’ upcoming shooter.
You get to see a bit of the studio’s performance capture sessions, including shots of Kevin Spacey in his performance suit, which doesn’t look very comfortable. But, as demonstrated in Advanced Warfare’s E3 2014 gameplay demo, it seems to be paying off by showcasing some of the most realistic facial capture techniques we’ve seen in a video game yet.
