Report – Destiny Beta Content Revealed, Features 4 Story Chapters, 4 Crucible Maps, and 1 Strike

Destiny‘s official Beta is quickly approaching, launching this Thursday, July 17, on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 and making its way to Xbox One and Xbox 360 users on Wednesday, July 23.

New details have surfaced that allegedly clear up what sort of content will be available in the upcoming Beta. According to Reddit user zebruh, a small blurb found in letters sent to GameStop managers containing marketing and content information claims the beta will feature “four story chapters, four competitive multiplayer maps, a cooperative Strike, and a huge world to explore with your own unique Guardian.”

It appears to be more packed than Destiny’s First Look Alpha, including new locations. Judging by last week’s news, the four Crucible maps are Shores of Time (Venus), Rusted Lands (Earth), Blind Watch (Mars), and First Light (Earth’s Moon).

We also happen to have a few Beta codes for all platforms to give away throughout the week. Get the details here.

Looks like there’ll be plenty to do Bungie’s offering later this month. We’ll see you online!
