Microsoft Announces Pre-Loading On Xbox One, Arrives September

The ability to pre-load games, in addition to pre-ordering, is coming to Xbox One this September, Microsoft announced during its presentation at Gamescom 2014.

The feature will debut with the launch of FIFA 15 on September 26, and then Forza Horizon 2 on September 30. Pre-loading will allow gamers to download pre-ordered games ahead of their launch, allowing them to play the moment the clock strikes midnight on launch day.

PlayStation 4 gamers have been able to enjoy pre-loading on select titles as well, so it’s great to see the feature heading over to the Xbox One as well.

Earlier, Microsoft announced a limited edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One bundle, offering a customized 1TB console, a controller, a chat headset, and a digital copy of the Day Zero Edition of Advanced Warfare.
