Destiny – 26 Spectacular Images From Gamescom Show Off New Gear and Locations

Destiny developer Bungie made a bit of bang at Gamescom 2014 during Sony’s media briefing with an action-packed competitive multiplayer trailer showing off all the game modes that will test your resolve inside the battlegrounds of the Crucible.

The gameplay also teased some of the high-level gear your Guardian will fight for in special events like the Iron Banner, where the strength of both your bravery and arsenal is measured. Luckily, we’ve got 26 new Destiny images from Gamescom 2014 that put some of these impressive rewards on display and even show off a few intriguing — and some new — locations on Mars, Venus, Mercury, Earth, and Earth’s Moon.

Have a look below:

Destiny is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on September 9.

Nothing too exciting in the images, but eh.

Don’t be a dick, at least its something new.

      • MegaMan3k

Just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’s exciting or interesting.

        • Nobodylikesyou

Just because you have an opinion doesn’t mean it’s worth sharing.

          • RustyFrags

You people are so emotional. Get over it.

      • RustyFrags

He was just stating that they’re not interesting. What exactly is the problem?

I can relate, I’m sure where you’re at in regards to anticipation of this title, but my indifference is coming from a place of “only the full title will do”.

      • Mike

ditto! I’m very tired of images of maps and such. Only the game will get me excited.

  • Jayy

I think i’m the only person who isn’t excited for this game, I played the beta and honestly It didn’t do it for me, I didn’t find it fun. Not really in to the hole si-fi space shooter unless its a movie!

    • Dirtknap

I went into the beta with low expectations, it really felt as though something big was missing. However, my friends and I came out blown away. The biggest draw card for us is it seems to be a viable alternative to the usual suspects with a healthy fun factor, and it’s inherently social in its nature. You’re not alone in declining to board the Destiny bandwagon, different strokes for different folks etc :)

    • TheTru Cypher

Do you have friends to play with ?

      • Jayy

I do, I played the beta and ranked up with a few friends. But that was it I only would play it just to rank up and get new gear!

  • Luis Mitis

still not so 60fps so sadly not getting it

    • Mike

      Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
