Rockstar Tells Us Why Grand Theft Auto V Was Delayed On PC

When gamers heard that the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V would launch two months behind the next-gen console version’s launch, on January 27th, it left many curious as to why. Those who remembered the PC port of Gran Theft Auto IV know that Rockstar didn’t deliver a very polished product last time, so will this time be any different?

Luckily, it seems like Rockstar’s mindset for the PC version of one of the best selling video games of all time on consoles has changed. As they detailed in a Rockstar Newswire comment, Rockstar wants to give it the extra time to make it the best it can be:

We’re glad to see so many of you are excited for the upcoming release of the new versions of GTAV and we look forward to sharing more details with you soon, we are also incredibly excited to be bringing GTAV to the PC, but the game requires a little more development time in order to ensure that it is as amazing and polished as possible. Please do stay tuned as we reveal new features and information about all the new versions in the weeks ahead.
