Advanced Warfare Xbox One Bundle $50 Price Drop Expected At Launch, According to Leaked Retailer Ads

Leaked ads from popular retailers like BustBuy, Target, and Walmart have revealed upcoming video game sales for the first week of November.

Included in all three ads is a $50 discount on Microsoft’s Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One bundle, reducing the price from its original cost of $499 USD to $440 USD. The bundle will launch along side the release of Advanced Warfare on November 3 and will include a 1TB customized console with a special Sentinel Task Force design and Advanced Warfare sound effects, a customized controller, a chat headset, and a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition.

According to BustBuy’s ad, it will also be selling the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Season Pass for $45 USD, which includes the bonus multiplayer map, Atlas Gorge.

If you take $60 off for the game itself, and about $100 which is close to what the 1tb HDD would cost you.. the controller runs around $50 and the unit itself would in the end cost you $230 + tax. That is under the median price that consoles are going for by themselves on ebay. So, if you bought this and parted it out.. you would probably make a decent amount of money. 😉

I wonder if this means the PS4 version is outselling the Xbox One version. I know in March when the PS4 was outselling the One, Microsoft started all these crazy stealth price cuts of the Titanfall Bundle. Not really the same situation but you wouldn’t expect them to do this if it was selling well on its own.

Found a mistake in the article, David. In the first sentence, you wrote BustBuy instead of Best Buy xD.

Wondering and curious as to if or how Sony will respond to this?
