New COD: Advanced Warfare Xbox 360 and PS3 Patch Improves Connectivity and Content Management

A minor update for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare were deployed earlier today.

As per the short list of patch notes, the update introduces “Connectivity Improvements” and “Improvements to content management for purchases made in the In-Game Store.

According to developer Sledgehammer Games, similar changes will be applied to current-gen systems as quickly as possible. “Our game update development process is to submit and verify changes on current gen systems first, and then apply those changes to prior generation as quickly as possible,” the studio wrote.

Another update will be coming soon, and many of the same changes made for the PC and next-gen console versions will be applied. Full Patch Notes will be released once the update is made available.”

Prev-gen never got the second patch. Now we get AW’s patch three that’s hasn’t been implemented in current-gen and PC yet? Disgusting. Unless it fixes the freezing issue that occurs after every game.

What are you on about? It says clearly “Another update will be coming soon, and many of the same changes made for the PC and next-gen console versions will be applied.”

Previous gen is lagging behind. This news is about a update pc and current gen already has.

Didn’t Mr. V write that this particular patch has yet to
        come to PS4 and XB1?

And do you mean we get the second patch alongside this one
(i.e. the BAL nerf and ASM1 buff)? If so, that’s great.
