Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been updated to include both Halo 4 and Team Hardcore playlists in multiplayer matchmaking.
According to the latest note from developer 343 Industries, Team Hardcore currently includes Halo 2 classic game types while Halo 3 tournament-approved game types are on schedule to launch at a later date.
In addition, other fan-favorite playlists like Team Snipers, Team Doubles, an objective-only playlist, and others are also in the works with more details to come. “As always, playlists data and feedback will determine which playlists become permanent additions to the playlist lineup,” 343 writes.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s next update is targeted for a “late weekend release” and will include improvements to UI, matchmaking, game-specific multiplayer items, controls, and more. Keep your eyes open for full patch notes later on.
