Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Edition Ditches Monthly Fee, Console Launch Dated

After much speculation ignited by its mysterious disappearance from store shelves, The Elder Scrolls Online is reborn and returns repackaged and with a lighter conscious.

The new and improved “Tamriel Unlimited” edition of ZeniMax and Bethesda’s MMO RPG based on the popular universe of The Elder Scrolls sports a new white and gold box cover and, at last, ditches the monthly subscription fee that was previously associated with the Mac and PC versions of the title.

Mac and PC owners will automatically upgrade to the new version on March 17 while PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users will finally get their hands on The Elder Scolls Online this June 9, ZeniMax announced earlier today.

For newcomers, the Tamriel Unlimited edition will package the original game plus all previously released content, including the new Justice and Champion systems. An optional monthly fee for ESO’s premium ESO Plus membership will remain should you decide to take part in monthly in-game benefits and a monthly allotment of crowns to spend in the store.

To celebrate, the studio has unveiled the final entry in their four-part series of impressive cinematic trailers which you can catch above. Alternatively, you can watch an over 20-minute supercut of all four ESO trailers in one epic cinematic below.
