Call of Duty Championship 2015 Guide – Tournament Information, Tentative Schedule, and Social Media Kits

Call of Duty’s biggest tournament of the year returns this weekend.

The Call of Duty Championship 2015 begins this Friday, March 27, where 32 of the world’s best Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare teams will compete for the ultimate title of World Champion and for a stake in the tournament’s 1 million dollar prize pool.

Hosted by Major League Gaming and presented by Xbox and Activision, the Call of Duty Championship 2015 takes place in Los Angeles, California where one team will be crowned Call of Duty king on Sunday, March 29.

Here’s our guide to this weekend’s events so you can keep up with the action at home.

Official Group Draw

Day one of the tournament will consist of a series of group matches that will determine which teams will move on to day two and the Bracket Phase of the tournament. The two winning teams of each group will progress forward, earning the chance to compete for a cut of the tournament’s $1 million prize pool.

The Call of Duty Championship 2015 will take place Friday, March 27 through Saturday, March 28, with the Upper Bracket Finals, Lower Bracket Finals, and Final Championship Match taking place on Sunday, March 29.

Where To Watch

You’ll be able to watch up to five different streams of the tournament, all live, on the official channel of Major League Gaming (MLG.tv/COD) or right here on MP1st. Viewers can cycle between Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo streams, as well as streams for both Italian and Spanish speaking audiences.

The third and final day of the tournament will be also live broadcasted on Xbox One.

Prize Pool

The tournament’s $1 million prize pool is divided up into eight chunks with the first place prize sitting at a cool $400,000. Here’s the full breakdown:
