Starting on July 16, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download and keep Gears of War 3 free of charge. You’ll find the offer on the Xbox Live Marketplace when it’s live, which will only be around until July 31. Prior to that, PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies will be free between July 1 and July 15 on Xbox 360.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag kicks off Xbox One’s Games With Gold deal for the entire month of July, while So Many Me will appear as a free download from July 16 to August 15.

At E3 2015, The Coalition announced Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, a remake of the original Gears of War remastered in 60 FPS and 1080p, coming to Xbox One on August 25. In addition, fans can expect Gears of War 4 with a new setting and story sometime during Holiday 2016.
