COD Champ 2015 Winners Immortalized In Advanced Warfare With Free Gear Set

Denial eSports, the top placing competitive Call of Duty team at this year’s Call of Duty Championship in Los Angeles, California last March, will be forever immortalized in Sledgehammer Games’ shooter, Advanced Warfare.

The studio announced today that a commemorative Denial eSports gear set that recognizes team members James “Clayster” Eubanks, Dillon “Attach” Price, Jordan “JKap” Kaplan, and James “Replays” Crowder will be available to players for free starting tomorrow, July 7, first on Xbox One.

The Denial Champs Helmet, Loadout, and Exoskeleton, featuring the signature Wolfpack emblem and Denial Logo, will appear in Supply Drops and Advanced Supply drops. PlayStation and PC users will get their shot at earning the set starting at a later date, likely around one month from now.

The Call of Duty Championship 2015, boasting a prize pool of $1 million, concluded on March 29 and was the third to take place since it first kicked off with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in 2013. A total of 32 teams from around the world competed with the winners taking home $400,000 in earnings. You can catch a breakdown of the final placings and a recap of the Championship day right here.

As of this writing, Treyarch and Activision have yet to announce if they will continue the tradition with Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 next year.
