Battlefield Hardline Update 2.0 Launches With Several Bug Fixes

Battlefield Hardline Update 2.0 has deployed on multiple platforms, patching up the game with a handful of bug fixes and other tweaks on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

According to the official notes, the update only concerns the three platforms mentioned above. It’s a relatively small patch with no weapon or vehicle balance tweaks, but there are several fixes for a couple of maps and a few platform-specific bugs, as well as plug-in support for Origin. You can read the full patch notes below.

Wait, they call THIS a “2.0 update” ? I’ve seen more fixes in a simple incremental/hotfix patch for most games.

I was expecting a lot more too.

  • Just a guy

This should be “Update 1.5”. They did just barely more than nothing with this. No wonder this game is dying a slow death.

This game is alive and well on Xbox One but I’d still like to see some improvements. The game needs a lot of them, especially in the weapon balance. There are some obvious mistakes in the stats. Not just balance problems but obviously incorrect values such as the L85A2 accuracy decreasing at an alarmingly massive rate after each shot fired. Most guns have a spread increase per shot of under 1 while the L85A2 has a SIPS value of 9!

If you look at the numbers, BFH is routinely played by nearly half the amount that are playing BF4 on PS4 and X1. That game came out nearly 2 full years ago. The game barely exists on PC. It’s dying a slow death, whether we like it or not.

I enjoyed it for a brief amount of time, but I too, have returned to BF4. Hotwire is decent, but the poor spawns on other game modes make this an exercise in frustration mostly.

        • Jayy

Yeah I to returned to BF4, its just a all around better game.

  • MegaMan3k

Have they added in 24 player TDM / BH yet?
