FPS are usually a pain to watch. Rocket League, now that’s a good one on Twitch.

Rocket League was on TV the other day! On Comcast Sportsnet! I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t watch it or anything, but it was on!

      • Jordache7k

I think it was on some NBC channel a couple weeks ago too. I think it’s the most watchable video game. And even if a normal civilian happens to come across Rocket League it’s simple enough for them to figure out what is happening with no information.

        • yowzagabowza

NBC owns Comcast Sportsnet I think. Or they’re at least affiliated. The Phillies are usually on CSN, but sometimes end up on NBC instead.

          • Jordache7k

I don’t know why any network would bother showing any Philadelphia game.

            • yowzagabowza

Yeah, all those Virginia teams are so much better…
Was that crazy ass riot–i mean protest anywhere near you?

            • Jordache7k

That crazy crap was a little over an hour away. Charlottesville isnt exactly in the boonies either, big-deal-UVA is there. I think they had a couple smaller gatherings over the past few months too. Radical people suck, just… be normal, he cool.

            • yowzagabowza

Yeah, fuck those racist assholes. Showing up for a “protest” with fuckin military gear on and shit. Utter disgrace, much like the people in charge of this stupid country.

And I watch all the Phillies games even though they suck. I watch all the spring training, too.

You’re not that elderly, you shouldn’t like baseball that much.

            • yowzagabowza

I only started watching in 2009 when I had an apartment with only the most basic of cable and CSN was one of the five channels I had.

            • Jordache7k

I used to pay much more attention to sports, but ever since RG3 had his had his rise and fall back in 2012 I’ve become very cynical. I’m growing new hope for the Wizards though, and the NBA Playoffs are usually pretty fun to watch regardless of local teams. Regular season baseball though? Hard pass.

            • yowzagabowza

I only watch baseball and football, but I’m way more invested in baseball. Football is more like an event to look forward to each week, the pomp and circumstance really do add to the games. Plus, I like that the weather is turning at the same time. Nothing like a crisp late September morning, rushing through work, getting good food for the game, and then falling asleep in the second quarter : )

Every football game Matters, which the other sports just cannot say.
I almost always fall prey to napping during football too, but I’m not sure whether to blame that on having to watch the Skins. They truly play the most boring games.

            • yowzagabowza

Yeah, that’s true, they all count. It’s the only season that doesn’t drag on for two months during playoffs, too
