Battlefield 4 – Battlelog Unlocked For All Users, China Rising DLC and Premium Content Dated

Battlefield 4‘s social stat-tracking service is now open for browsing in preparation for the game’s official launch later tonight.

While much of it is still locked until the game is actually purchased and played, the Premium section is left open for browsing and reveals a few interesting dates that subscribers will want to take note of.

For starters, Battlefield 4’s first Premium DLC, China Rising, is listed for release on December 3. That is, of course, the date Premium users will get their hands on the game’s Chinese mainland-themed expansion. Regular users will get their hands on it by December 17, two weeks later.

Premium users can also mark November 30 and December 1 down on their calendars as Double XP dates. Again, these Double XP events will be exclusive to Premium members, though DICE will surely announce global Double XP events throughout the game’s life span. We’ll have to stay tuned to hear more.

On top of all that, there are a few extra Premium goodies to look out for. Here are some important dates to note over the next two months. You can catch the full Premium schedule over on the Battlelog.

  • November 4 – Gold Battlepack
  • November 11 – Premium Emblems and Soldier Portraits
  • November 18 – Premium Camo Paints
  • December 9 – Gold Battlepack
  • December 16 – Premium Dog Tags
  • December 23 – Premium Knife

If you haven’t yet, head on over to the new Battlelog and have a gander. See you on the Battlefield later tonight!

Wish next-gen would come out sooner.

    • Katana67

Yeah, well it’s only a few weeks so it’s not bad. It’s not like there’s a shortage of alternatives anyhow, it’s Fall!

      • zacflame

        Alternative to BF4 on PS4?…

…BF4 on PS3! (Or NASA computer)

    • Kyle Jackson

Next-gen is already here my friend, PC 😀

      • Tank Buster

      • luke hobson

        • BroJ

That is a really nice set up.

        • Kyle Jackson

As we’re getting our cocks out, here’s my standing desk setup. I use the wall on the right for 160″ projector screen. Nice kit btw friend.

*edit not a fucking clue why the pic loaded twice, sorry.

          • BroJ

            Here is mine. LOL

            • Kyle Jackson

Yes, but how many graphics does it have?

            • BroJ

It runs all games at 120P at 10fps. Beat that.

            • Kyle Jackson

              You’re right, I can’t beat that. I couldn’t possibly get lower, the frames I meant…

            • BroJ

              Pretty much.

            • zacflame

I just noticed that the PS1 is just a DVD player with controller inputs.

            • BroJ

              Pretty much

            • dpg70

Even better, it’s a CD player with controller inputs.

        • Rob

If I had the money I would invest in a gaming PC. I got to stick to consoles for now.

      • BroJ

Not for long time console players like me. Next gen starts Nov 15.

        • Kyle Jackson

I hope for your sake and others, that you’re correct. We all should get along, as we all have common ground in that we all love games on whatever machine.

          • BroJ

Could not have said it better myself.

            • Kyle Jackson

I declare peace through out the land 😀

      • mhal

for five hundred bucks? Or do I need to take out a second mortgage, maybe sell a kidney to get a decent frame rate?

        😛 (/troll)

      • PuddingAuxRais1ns

True dat. Planning on getting a PC and a PS4. Ultimate next-gen combo.

    • BroJ

      Bad news for Xboxone adopters.

“The system OS and network integration was written by a group of people who do not play games. They don’t understand why things were set up in the ways they were designed by J Allard back in ’05.” OUCH

  • CoDforever

    Dino mode ? ..

    • mhal

      teletubbies mode?

      • Charlie Brown themed expansion? Charlie Brown goes to Battle!

        • Mech Fett

          Star wars mode?

  • Mohammad Nassir

WOOW .. The battle has started .. READY FOR SOME ACTION

  • Hot-Wire

Wait so for next gen, will we still get the stuff on the 4th and 11th auto unlocked?

    • Yes.

      • BroJ

Found some more concrete info on resolution on Next gen. Might want to put this on the site. It will start a fanboy war though. LOL

        • XFistsClenchedX

          Xbox One – 720p and PS4 – 900p? Not an issue.

        • You mean gameplay done with a pixel counter?

      • Hot-Wire

        Nice, thanks shawn.

  • Jamie Marques

    I have to wait more in the U.K ;___;

    • Kyle Jackson

I’m in the UK and I’m playing it now, SP that is, sssh though ;0

  • Guest

how do i get the premium?

  • jaskdavis

Thanks David! Do you have an ETA on tomorrow when the Next Gen footage of BF4 will be shown off by any chance? Thanks again for all the BF News.

  • Stigr Kullberg

Worth noting that the emblems you created during beta are all back in your account. And still about emblems, Better Battlelog (browser plugin) does a great job to enhance the emblem editor.

    • Leon

It’s good to know, although I backed them up through browser java editor. Have to check out Better Battlelog emblem feature. I didn’t notice anything extra during beta.

    • jj16802

Sweet, I won’t have to redo my Helghast triad again!

  • swipe_06

I hope that “high-tech military equipment” translates to weapons. BF3 had all the well known ones, I really would like to use them again.

  • You also have to factor in the timed exclusive dates

    • jj16802

So far the only timed exclusive DLC is Second Assault for Xbox. There’s a chance that none of the platforms will get early access for the other DLCs this time.

  • BroJ

I knew it and told all of you guys. Jackfrags said there is a noticeable difference between PS4 and XB1 versions of BF4. Also it is almost certain that BF4 runs on Xbox One at 720P and 900P on PS4.

    • XFistsClenchedX

Nobody cares that the resolutions are slightly different. If Arthur Gies is correct, then most people won’t be able to see a difference between the PS4 and Xbox One single player graphics. He’s going to post screenshots after the embargo ends in 3 hrs 15 minutes.

      • Zatanna XOXOXOXO

For once I agree, that difference is not something that would be entirely noticeable by most people. “Nobody cares that the resolutions are slightly different.” I wouldn’t say nobody (as I am sure some people may) cares, but I find that this is not something worthy of caring a whole lot about.

      • BroJ

Coming from you who consistently puts up tech jargon explaining how resolutions are better and all this other shit. You are just mad because PS4 gets a better resolution since you are clearly getting a XboxOne. Do not try to hide it with a positive comment.

And the 720P and 900P applies to the mutiplayer as well sorry to say.

If the resolution was flipped to the XboxOne being better you would post a long uninteresting post on how that is only possible with the cloud. Nobody is fooled by your tactics.

        • Mech Fett

Everyone need to calm the fuck down. (Some back history on me and my gaming) I cam into the gaming world late (Currently 20, startd gaming at 15) And I started on PC. I love pc, I love what can be done with it and how the graphics usually look great and how I have more control of my system and my game. BUT… My friends all played on 360’s. Now I have travled alot and haven’t settled down until recently so during my travels I enjoyed both (at the time) the ps2/ps3 and the xbox/360. But once my parents decided that we were going to stay in one place for a while I made friends and played with them on their 360’s. Now I own one and I am happy with it. Could it be better? Hell yes! Am I excited about the new consols? Not really. Both are fucking up, and fucking up alot. Not to say pc is great, because there are still problems that are unique to pc’s. As a BF3 lover and now a BF4 player, the differences doesn’t bother me between the three systems. So you might get a better picture and possibly some better gameplay on one over the other. But ultimately it comes down to who you play with, not the console or pc. Like I said, I am at my core a pc guy, unfortunately I do not have the money for a high/mid grade pc. And all my buds play on the 360. So naturally that is what I am going to play on possibly get (XB1). Now come on guys. We really are all part of the same community. So stop trolling and acting like 10year old assholes and lets point out some of the strengths of the new systems and how sonly/microsoft could make those better and how they could actually fix some of the problems that may persist for a while after the release of said console.

  • Karmmaguitar

My only complain about BF4 are those fucking Battlepacks. Why we can’t get the full game paying one single time? why we can´t get all the weapon attachments as it used to be in BF3?. FUCK YOU DICE

    • BroJ

I think the Battlepacks are genius. They are infinite and it is a cool little touch because you never know what you are going to get. It is sorta like the packs in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer and that was cool. You do not pay extra for battlepacks moron. You can still get Battlepacks without Premium.

      • Zatanna XOXOXOXO

I like that idea too, but the comparison to ME3 is a little off. ME3 is co-op; while this is competitive and battlepacks dictating who gets what attachments may create an imbalance in the competitiveness of the game. In a competitive game like this luck should never dictate who gets what.

        • BroJ

bitch please u aint shit nigga bitch! take your fake ass off here!

          • Zatanna XOXOXOXO

Well aren’t you mature, kiddies with your language really should not be playing rated M-games like BF. Watch out your mommy might take your game away if she knew you are talking like this. While this whole paragraph is a joke; you still need to grow up, and maybe actually type out words instead of using that horrid “u”. Learn to capitalize properly while your at it.

Seriously though grow up; just because I disagree with you does not mean you ned to be so immature about it. If you disagree make a constructive response as to why you disagree; like I did. Until then “take your fake ass off here!”.

    • XFistsClenchedX

So you don’t want to earn anything? You just want to buy your way to victory? I hope the commander is determined by rank again and I also hope that you have to complete challenges to hit certain ranks like in BF2.

    • oofy

Ummm…most of what can be unlocked via battlepacks are the same as things you can regularly unlock. They’re just cosmetically different.

  • MegaMan3k

So Second Assault on November 22nd ( on Xbox One) and China Rising on December 3rd?

Is there a mixup somewhere in the news here? Is it actually that XBox One has China Rising at launch? Or are both map packs really launching that close to one another? Seems … not smart.

    • I saw this on Google Plus. Very interesting to say the least. Even more so if these are in fact all or mostly true

  • Rogan

Goddamn, still have to wait two days to pick up my copy, bloody australian physical copy :

  • BroJ
  • Rob

Here’s my setup. Sorry for the darkness but 22′ screen 1080p HD RAZR VIZIO flat screen TV. 250GB Xbox 360 system wireless controller play and charge kit. Just need some MTN DEW. I’m already Prepared 4 Battle.

    • LMFAO
I don’t know why I laughed for like 20 whole seconds but I like this

    • Mech Fett

Wired contoller with the turtle beach x12 and I have pretty much the same setup. Although personally I would prefer a 17-19 inch screen. That is just my prefered screen size I can see the whole screen easier on the smaller screen. Oh, and I hate having to recharge crap, thus the wired controler and the less expensive headset.
