Battlefield Heroes has made a return, and you can play it right now!
Following its shutdown by EA on July 14, 2015, many of us thought that our time as “Heroes” was over for good. However, thanks to the Revive team (responsible for also bringing back Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142) we can now all become Heroes again!
Here’s the (now outdated) Battlefield Heroes official description for those who need to get caught up:
Battlefield Heroes is a brand new game from the team behind Battlefield 1942™ and Battlefield 2™. It’s fun cartoon-style graphics and gameplay caters to players of all skill levels. It is easy to pick up and play but with robust character customization and a deep online meta-game, gamers can spend hours building up their characters and conquering the world.
To access to open beta, follow these steps:
- Go to https://battlelog.co/register.php and register an account (Skip this step if you already have one)
- Join the Revive Network Discord: https://discord.gg/revive
- Connect your Battlelog.co account you previously made with the Revive Network Discord account here: https://account.revive.network/discord
- Login into https://www.reviveheroes.com with your Battlelog.co account
- Create a hero here: https://www.reviveheroes.com/create (You can create up to 6 heroes with that link)
- Download the Revive Heroes Launcher: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/335973035116855296/350985912907202570/Setup.exe
- Go to https://www.reviveheroes.com/play and let the launcher start up and update itself.
