Check Out Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Highest-Level Unlocks

Sledgehammer Games is bringing customization to the next level in Advanced Warfare.

With nine different customization slots, you’ll be able to deck out your Operator in some pretty sweet gear that you’ll unlock through ranking up and through Advanced Warfare’s supply drops. Items range in rarity from Enlisted to Elite, though some of the coolest items will only be attainable by completing certain challenges.

IGN recently took a look at some of Advanced Warfare’s highest-level gear, which you can have a look at in the video below, giving you a small tease of what sort of customization options will be available to you in multiplayer. Check it out:

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare drops on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on September 4 with 24 hours of early access and double XP for Day Zero Edition owners.

If you missed it, check out Advanced Warfare’s latest trailer that shows off the game’s co-operative multiplayer mode, Exo Survival, for the first time right here.

This type of character customisation need to be implemented in Hardline specially for the robbers!

    September 4 release? #correction

  • GoldenAxe007

I think the date is supposed to be November 4th, not September 4th.

  • J4MES

That’s the second article David has written September the 4th as a release date lol!

that just cosmetics, game will still lags and hacker everywhere on first week

    • Primey_

Lag is almost always on the users end and hackers aren’t very common

      • J4MES

Lag is worse for even the best connections now thanks largely to the Lag Compensation concept where good connections are punished to accommodate the players in the lobby with the weaker connections. It’s a complete BS implementation and I’d happily go back to the single host advantage like in COD4 and MW2 where everyone’s connection depended on their own internet. I’d rather have one player at an advantage as opposed to 11 at a disadvantage.

If you one of those who think everyone who is better you hacks, I will give an advice.. Do not play FPS games 😉

  • xHDx

I’m not gonna lie, it looks awesome but I’m not buying until I’ve tried it.

And I think September 4th is a little too early, don’t ya think David 😛

Too many bells and whistles, just keep it simple. If the gameplay was solid no one would care about “character customization”.

      Cod 4 remains my favorite.

I agree. This whole “character customization” is even more pointless as you will never see yourself wearing any of these costumes in games. Basically, it’s just a very limited “Barbie dress-up” game.

“…some of the coolest items will only be attainable by completing certain challenges…”

*Edit: some of the coolest items will only be attainable by buying them as micro DLC transactions.*

Less is more, for one. Also I wish they’d focus less on the progression and more on the underlying tech. Graphics, hit registration and anti-lag(lag comp) both need serious re-engineering now that we have more capable consoles. Everything else needs to take a back seat for me to consider COD a quality product.
