MLG Announces First-Ever Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Open Series and Pro League Tournament

Major League Gaming has announced the first-ever eSports tournament for Sledgehammer Games’ upcoming Call of Duty title, Advanced Warfare.

Airing of the MLG 25k Open Series Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Tournament begins on November 28 and concludes November 30 exclusively on MLG.tv. Fans worldwide can also watch in person at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus, Ohio, with the purchase of a Spectator Pass or VIP Pass for $25 or $100, respectively.

Featuring 140 of the best Call of Duty teams in the world (128 in open bracket and 12 in pool play battle), the open series boasts $25,000 in prizes as well as 25,000 MLG Pro Points and puts the last four spots in Season 1 of the upcoming MLG Pro League on the line.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s MLG Pro League will take place this December with competitors made up of the four winning teams of the MLG 25k Open Series and the top eight teams from Season 3 of the MLG Call of Duty: Ghosts Pro League. On the line is $75,000 in prizes, $96,000 in participation payments paid at the season’s end based on each player’s number of matches played, 250 Pro Points per Regular Season Match win, and a 25k Series Playoffs.
