No Grand Theft Auto V For Next Gen Consoles, According To Take Two CEO

Those who have been looking for a good reason to hold on to their current-gen consoles might take interest in Take Two Interactive’s decicion regarding the future of Grand Theft Auto V on the next-generation consoles.

According to a recent interview with MCV, CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Strauss Zelnick, has stated that fans of the Grand Theft Auto series have been waiting on the latest installment of the blockbuster hit, Grand Theft Auto V for years, and he expects there to be enormous consumer demand, thanks to the excess of 120 install base of the current generation of consoles.

In addition, Zelnick has also stated that regardless of when the next-generation consoles are going to be released, he believes that the absence of Grand Theft Auto V from the next-generation consoles wont have any real impact on the sales of Grand Theft Auto V, which is set to also be featuring the largest, most dynamic, and diverse open-world that Rockstar Games has created thus far.

You can expect Grand Theft Auto V to release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17th.
