Rocket League Update for Autumn Adds New Banners, Map and More

Psyonix’s fantastic support of Rocket League continues with the game’s “Autumn Update” that adds a new map, a bunch of new player banners and lots more. The Rocket League update should be out for both consoles (PS4, Xbox One) and PC.

There are new standard arena variants for Starbase Arc, Wasteland, Champions Field (day), Mannfield (snowy), and DFH Stadium (day). As for the new seasonal arena, prepare for “Farmstead” which has cars diving for a ball in a farm!

There’s a new unlockable crate items as well that has new cars which should spice things up. New player banners and Season 6 rewards can  be seen below.

PLAYER BANNERS

Customize your Rocket League experience with ‘Player Banners!’ These are unique graphics equippable by players that surround their name and in-game title. They appear during goal replays and on the post-game celebration screen.

SEASON 6 BEGINS!

Prepare yourself for Season 6 of competitive Rocket League! Season 5 comes to a close and the following ‘Player Banner’ rewards are awarded based on the highest skill tier reached.

Finally, Psyonix has added transparent goalposts that should help tense situations and having people making an excuse that something was blocking their view. The in-game blog has seen a tweak as well that shows the new items for display. According to Psyonix, there are over 90 free items to be had in this Rocket League Autumn Update.

PC players, you’ll be glad to know that LAN support has now been added! Now you can do LAN Rocket League parties for tournaments and more.
