Bloober Team is turning their psychological horror game, The Medium into a TV series. Bloober will be partnering with Platige Images under the supervision of Tomasz Bagiński (producer on The Witcher on Netflix) and Piotr Babieno to bring The Medium TV series to life.

If you didn’t know, The Medium is a psychological horror game by the Bloober Team, released in January 2021. It is set in post-communist Poland, where the main character, Marianne helps stray souls find peace. The game is filled with a series of mysteries and you also take a look at Marriane’s past. Our review of the game called it a “title worth playing” giving it an impressive rating of 8.5/10.

Piotr Babieno, president of Bloober Team (via a press release) says: 

Both the film industry and the video game industry are close to my heart and I am very happy that there is finally an opportunity to bring them both together. My joy is even greater because two Polish companies are taking part in production, and a series will be created on the basis of our game. The story we told in the game was appreciated by players, and now more people will be able to hear about it. The latest hits of streaming platforms based on games such as “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” or “Arcane” have shown that this is the perfect time for such productions.

As of right now, the details shared about the upcoming TV series are scarce. We do not know when it is coming out, nor about its setting or story. It looks like Bloober Team will share more details soon.
