Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Game Mode to Allow PCs “Full Processing Power” in the Style of a Console

The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Game Mode improvements aim to make the tool more useful. With a lot of people experiencing a reduction in gaming performance when using the current version of Game Mode, Microsoft is going to have to do something special.

This time around, Game Mode is being used to make PCs almost console-like, harnessing the full processing power of the system to provide the best possible performance.

“The fuel that often inspires creativity is play. With the Fall Creators Update, we’ve updated Game Mode, which allows your games to use the full processing power of your device as if it was an Xbox game console, right from a new button on the Game bar. And to take advantage of this power, we have a fantastic lineup of Xbox Play Anywhere games coming including, Cuphead, Forza Motorsport 7, Super Lucky’s Tale and Middle-earth: Shadow of War.”

It’ll be interesting to see just how well this works, and you can bet that PC enthusiasts will be rushing to test it out.

Will you be trying out the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Game Mode?
