Private Division and Roll7 have just released two Rollerdrome developers videos for their upcoming title, only one week before its release. The first one focuses on the unique art style of the game, while the second one focuses on the production of its soundtracks.

In the  “Characters & Comic Book Style of 2030” video, we hear from Rollerdrome developers, Character Artist, Rachel Cox, and Lead Artist, Antonie Dekerle. They both share in-depth insights into the creation of Rollerdrome’s world and its characters.

In the “The Sound of 2030” video, we hear from the composer, Electric Dragon, as he shares the inspiration behind the 1970’s sounds and textures in the game. It’s been really refreshing to dive into the 70s and I kind of don’t wanna come out,” the artist reveals.

Here is a short description of the game according to Roll7’s official website.

The year is 2030. In a world where corporations rule and the lines between reality and performance are blurred, the public are kept distracted by the violence and excess of a brutal new blood sport — Rollerdrome. Will you have what it takes to become the Rollerdrome champion and unravel the mysteries behind the Matterhorn corporation’s true intentions?

Rollerdome is releasing on August 16, 2022, on the PS4, PS5, and PC. The game will be available for purchase at $29.99 for consoles, and for $19.79 for the first two weeks on Steam.
