Apex Legends Update 1.49 October 19 Spawns Out (Update)

Apex Legends Update 1.49 October 19

Heads up, legends! Respawn Entertainment has released the Apex Legends update 1.49 October 19 patch, and it’s live now on all platforms! Given this is an unannounced title update, we’re not expecting anything major to be added, but rather, mostly for gameplay fixes.

Apex Legends Update 1.49 October 19 Patch Notes:

Here’s what Respawn had to say regarding today’s patch:

We’ve pushed out a patch today that adds a new feature allowing you to deny all incoming friend invites as well as the ones in your queue. You can toggle it on or off in the Friends menu.

While no official patch notes have been released by Respawn just yet (expect it after an hour or two), there’s the game’s offical Trello board to save the day! We’ve listed the items that were recently resolved which should be included in today’s patch (as was the case last week).

  • Ring can spawn in playable space in flashpoint LTM
  • Crashes occur when -dev is applied

Here’s what’s tagged as “Coming in a future patch” which might or might be rolled into today’s update:

  • Invalid or expired tokens error

For now, that’s the only official changes we know of so far. Once Respawn Enterainment releases the official patch notes, we’ll update the post. If you spot any gameplay-related changes or fixes, let us know what you notice down below in the comments.

In other Apex Legends news, the Nintendo Switch version has been rated by the ESRB, which suggests it’s set for release soon.

Update: Respawn has released the exact change(s) that’s included in today’s patch and have updated the post with it.
