Battlefield 2042 New Cosmetics

Battlefield 2042’s patch 4.0 is the gift that keeps on giving! Not only did the patch bring over 400 improvements to the shooter, but there’s been a flood of stuff unearthed via datamining, and we’re not done yet! Battlefield 2042 new cosmetics have been dug up from the patch, and these include Specialist-specific gear, as wel as other camos and the like.

Once again unearthed by Battlefield dataminer temporyal, check out some of the Battlefield 2042 new cosmetics that have been unearthed that could be part of the weekly mission rewards).

Another thing that was dug up in patch 4.0 is a few UI/HUD portraits of the AI soldiers in BF2042! These were added to the client, which suggests that these bots might be able to join player squads in the future. Not only that, but it seems DICE is readying the Breakaway map to include a blizzard weather effect, as a file for it has been spotted in patch 4.0 too!

Finally, an unreleased skin set for Paik has been spotted as well, and the headgear and body parts of the skin can be mixed and matched with other cosmetics!

As is with every datamined info for any game, there is no guarantee that we’ll see these make their way into the game, and could be placeholder files or the like. THat said, it wouldn’t make sense for DICE to put these in patch 4.0 unless they were planning on using ’em, no?
