Bungie Says They Are Not Disappointed With Destiny 2: Forsaken Sales

new destiny 2 weekly reset

Just last week during Activision’s earnings call, the publisher admitted that it Destiny 2: Forsaken sales did not meet the publisher’s expectations, and was already thinking of ways to further monetize other aspects of the game.

Now, Bungie themselves have spoken up about the issue as well. Over on Twitter, Destiny Director Luke Smith mentioned that they are not disappointed with Destiny 2: Forsaken, and that they will continue to build Destiny for players who love it.

Of course, both statements can be correct at the same time: Activision wasn’t satisified with the sales or their projections weren’t met, while Bungie is happy with the expansion and how it’s being received. The question here is: are players satisfied with it? And will it equate to more Destiny sales in the future?

If you have a capable gaming PC, you can try Destiny 2 for free right now for a limited time.
