If you’ve played Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, then chances are, you’ve seen or used the KAP–40 auto pistol. Well, if you liked that weapon, you’ll be able to wield it in Black Ops 4 soon! Found in datamined files are not only this Black Ops 4 new weapon code, but even images, and a super short clip of it!

Given how Treyarch has rolled out the Black Ops 4 new weapons, chances are, the KAP-40 pistol will be part of a new Operation once Operation Absolute Zero is done, and can be earned by progression through the Contraband tiers. If this is the case, players will need to grind in order to earn this new weapon.

For those who remember using the KAP-40 (like I do), you might have fond memories on how powerful these pistols are; so much so that you can take down enemies using primary weapons with just this pistol. And if Treyarch allows players to dual wield these like in the past, well, prepare for a lot of pistol-using killers soon.
