Looks like the rumors were correct, the next Call of Duty is called WWII, and its set to have its full reveal next week.

If you want to catch the first trailer, which is dropping on April 26th at 10am PDT, be sure to either RSVP over at the official Call of Duty: WWII page, or come back that day as we will also have the trailer up.

Along with this announcement, it also appears that the first in-game screenshots may have accidentally been uploaded to the profile log-in page over at the Call of Duty site. Upon logging into this page, you will see the following images.

Interesting enough, it seems the third image over with the soldier, if you take a look at the patch on his shoulder you may recognize it as the Big Red One patch from Call of Duty 2: Big Red One, a game that also took place in WWII.

What are your guy’s thoughts on that? Are we perhaps gonna have a story revolve around the same unit?
