With Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 set for release in just a few days, Activision is kicking the marketing into overdrive! Today, the publisher released a brand new Black Ops 4 Blood of the Dead trailer, and as you can guess, it’s all about the zombies!

The undead await in Alcatraz. This is ‘Blood of the Dead’ in Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4, a reimagined return of a fan-favorite, complete with surprises hidden within the iconic penitentiary.

Also as part of the marketing, Activision has a “total blackout” house made in London! Developed by UK-based Surrey NanoSystems, the house is coated in a special Vantablack paint that absorbs the light thus creating the world’s darkest room!

Activision invited pro athletes like pro footballer Dele Alli to play in the blackout house, along with YouTube personalities too. Check out the video for this super dark house below.

In a world first, the creators of Vantablack, the super-black coating that holds the world record as the darkest substance made by man, have created the world’s darkest room ever to play Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4. A special version of Vantablack known as VBx2 has been applied to every wall of a unique gaming space as part of a one-of-a-kind, architectural experience for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, launching globally on Friday, October 12th. Dubbed the Black Ops House, this unique space in which practically all natural light is absorbed, creates an optical effect of playing the game within an endless Blackout.
