With Cyberpunk 2077, CD Projekt RED is creating a sci-fi follow up to one of the best games of all time in The Witcher 3. Not only did the The Witcher 3 feature fantastic gameplay, but it also offered an unprecedented number of side quests, and other content that was doable given the game’s massive size. For those wondering whether the Cybperunk 2077 map would be bigger than The Witcher 3, the answer, is a definite no, but there’s a catch.

In a new interview with CDPR conducted at gamescom, Producer Richard Borzymowski mentioned that while the Cyberpunk 2077 map is smaller compared to The Witcher 3’s, it’s packed with more content.

If you look at pure surface [in terms of] square kilometers, then Cyberpunk 2077 might even be a little bit smaller than The Witcher 3, but it’s the density of the content, taking the world of The Witcher and squeezing it right in, deleting the wilderness between.

That’s not bad at all, no? I mean, the fact that it can even be compared to The Witcher 3 means it’s packed to the brim when it comes to content.

In other Cyberpunk 2077 news, CDPR has confirmed that you can complete the game without killing anyone.
