Final Fantasy 7 Remake Delayed by a Month

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Update 1.03

If you’re an old school gamer, or just like RPGs, chances are very high that you’re looking forward to Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Well, we’re here with some bad news. Square Enix has today announced the Final Fantasy 7 Remake delayed news, though it’s not a long one.

Instead of launching on March 3, 2020, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake new release date is now set for April 10, 2020! Square Enix released a letter explaining it to fans, which you can read below.

“We know that so many of you are looking forward to the release of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE and have been waiting patiently to experience what we have been working on. In order to ensure we deliver a game that is in-line with our vision, and the quality that our fans who have been waiting for deserve, we have decided to move the release date to April 10, 2020.

We are making this tough decision in order to give ourselves a few extra weeks to apply final polish to the game and to deliver you with the best possible experience. I, on behalf of the whole team, want to apologize to everyone, as I know this means waiting for the game just a little bit longer.

Thank you for your patience and continued support”

Yoshinori Kitase, Producer of FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE.

While we’re waiting one more month before we can dive in and soak in all that nostalgia, there’s a demo coming before it that should help make the wait a lot easier to take. There’s already gameplay of the leaked demo, a datamine of some of the abilities and skills, and even a set of screenshots that are a bit spoiler-ish.
