Remember Ghost Recon Future Soldier? If you were a fan of that game, you’ll love what Ubisoft has planned for Ghost Recon Widllands. In a press release, the studio announced a free two-party mission that’s themed around Future Soldier, which is set to drop tomorrow, December 11.

As part of Special Operations 3, familiar characters Scott Mitchell and John Kozak will team up with players in these missions which will be introduced both in the campaign, and PvP mode. Two new Future Soldier-inspired Ghost War PvP classes and a PvE mission called Operation Silent Spade, will be part of the roll out tomorrow.

In Operation Silent Spade, Ghost Leader Scott Mitchell calls on Nomad and his team to help rookie John Kozak investigate a plot that links the Santa Blanca Cartel to a nuclear threat. The special challenge is playable solo or with up to four players in co-op.

Completing the Operation Silent Spade mission will reward players with the Optical Camo Backpack, and players can also customize their characters with the Silent Spade Pack, which includes weapon and customization items.
