Those who want more enemies to slay in Nioh 2, the Nioh 2 next DLC titled “Darkness in the Capital” is set to drop on October 15! This new DLC features new quests, bosses and more.

Here’s what Team Ninja Creative Director Tom Lee had to say:

Without further ado, let’s get into the new details for the brand-new quest awaiting all of our warriors. Darkness in the Capital features new storylines, overwhelmingly powerful new bosses, tricky new Yokai, new Guardian Spirits, skills, Ninjutsu, Onmyo Magic and Soul Cores. And to top it all off, this new chapter will present electrifying new armor sets and a weapon that fans of hand-to-hand combat will surely relish.

Players will travel to Kyoto City and discover a shrine adorned with an old box, which, upon inspection, the Sohayamaru once again shines brilliantly and the protagonist is whisked away to the middle of the Heian Period, landing in an ancient version of the capital.

The game’s protagonist will join forces with heroes during that time period to take out Yokai hordes, and will learn about the connection about the past and present. Obviously there’s a lot more than just that, but players will need to experience this premium DLC in order to find out more.
