Rainbow Six Quarantine and Far Cry 6 Delayed to First Half of 2021

Rainbow Six Quarantine Delayed

Remember Rainbow Six Quarantine? The PvE shooter revealed back in E3 2019?  Well, that game and Far Cry 6 have officially been pushed back to sometime in 2021! Ubisoft has confirmed that Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine delayed news in the company’s latest earnings report.

According to Ubisoft, the reason for the delay was caused by “production challenges related to work from home” given we’re still knee-deep in the COVID-19 pandemic. Given we didn’t really have a release date for Rainbow Six Quarantine other than “2020,” the delay isn’t that really surprising.

As for Far Cry 6, it was scheduled to hit current and next-gen consoles on February 18, 2021, and unless it gets pushed to July or August, the new release date for the shooter shouldn’t come as a shock to gamers.

You can check out the different editions and pre-order bonuses for Far Cry 6 here.

Aside from Rainbow Six Quarantine and Far Cry 6, I wouldn’t be surprised to see more game delays affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
