Following the huge Final Fantasy 7 Remake news from yesterday’s State of Play, it seems there’s more Final Fantasy 7 news incoming for PlayStatioin gamers! A new leak has surfaced stating that Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of the free games hitting PlayStation Plus this March!

This was spotted by Twitter user aibo who found it listed on the Japanese PlayStation Store!

Further adding to its legitimacy, the page mentions that the PS4 version of FF7R cannot be upgraded to the PS5 version after subscribing to PlayStation Plus and getting it for free, which makes sense given the PS5 version is getting the Yuffie episode for free. We’ve taken a screenshot of it in case it gets pulled (and ran through Google translate):
Mind, this isn’t official, and there is a chance this is only for JP and Asian PlayStation Plus members. That said, I doubt Sony would let a high profile game be exclusive to one region.
