It seems Sony is going to let some players test out the new PS4 firmware soon, as PS4 update 7.50 beta invites are apparently being sent out as we speak! Over on Twitter, multiple people have posted screenshots of the invite, which we’ve translated below.

We invite you to the PS4 system software 7.50 beta test. Please participate in this test program. Thank you for your cooperation in improving the quality of system software in the future. There are no new features in this beta test. Improved operation stability.
No word yet on whether there’s new features yet to be revealed, but I suspect there will be some given they are asking people to test it. We’re keeping an eye out on more details and will update the post if we spot anything. Also, unlike past beta tests, there doesn’t seem to be a friend invite option this time around
If you got an invite for PS4 update 7.50, send us an email about it, and we promise, we’ll keep eveything confidential.
