In case you didn’t know, The Division 2 will be getting a ton of new content come October 15 for Year 1 Pass holders, with regular game owners getting it on October 22. Unfortunately, buried under all that new stuff, Ubisoft Massive has also announced that The Division 2 second raid has been delayed into 2020.
According to Massive, based on feedback from the first raid — Operation Dark Hours — it became apparent to the studio that releasing The Division 2 second raid at this stage would not allow the studio to “deliver the optimum experience that you expect.” This extra development time will help Massive ensure the second raid meets the community’s standards.
This is a bummer for sure, but at least the studio is delaying it and giving it more love rather than rushing it just to tick off a number on its checklist, no? And remember, this one should be free for everyone, too.
Once we hear more news regarding the raid, we’l be sure to let our readers know.
Are you disappointed with this delay and what do you hope to see in The Division 2’s second raid?
