Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 November 21 PC Patch Notes, Includes 90 FOV Update

Yesterday, November 21, Treyarch went live with an update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 on the PC that featured single player, zombies and multiplayer fuxes, including the earlier promised 90 FOV patch.

Check out the full list of patch notes below:

Max FOV increased to 90
Fix: Horse falling through the world in Afghanistan when playing on some CPUs with 4 or more cores
Fix: RC-XD and the AGR sinking into the map in MP when playing on some CPUs with 4 or more cores
General performance improvements in SP, MP, and ZM for CPUs with 4 or more cores
Fix: crash when a 7th player tries to join a 6 player league lobby
Improved dedicated server matchmaking
Fix: some cases of “Connection Interrupted” in MP while loading into a match

The new FoV is gorgeous. Gives a more fluid gameplay on my part. I’m having none issues with FPS drops. And the weapons dont seem stretched like they did in MW3 with FoV Changer. It’s simply fantastic, cant wait to play some more

I will use it on a 27” monitor anything lower 80fov is better becos more you increase your smaller the enemy will appear on your screen… i use 85 in bf3

love the 90! 3arch just needs to figure Nuketown bs out, cause 90% of players are jumping in and out of the lobbys ,waiting only or Nuketown to appear. really annoying

I have an issue with there not being a “bring party” button when you back out of a lobby. Anyone else think that should be there?

Great, now if they could just fix the random system freezes. Anyone remember when bf3 first came out and an onboard sound card would cause the game to lock a system up? Same thing happens to this game…not within the first 5 min, but still is a major issue. Yes, i shelled out the money to buy a sound card just to play bf3. Come on 3arch step your game up.

Patch the PC crashing. My game goes to black screen after one match then the game crashes to the desktop and I have to restart my computer.

  I had this problem too. A re-installation may do the trick for you. Of that doesn’t work, try to play with your computer’s sound settings. Hope I helped.
