You’ll find the Standard PC download at $59.99 and the Deluxe PC download for ten dollars more at $69.99. EDIT: We initially listed Canadian prices. US prices are now reflected. Canadian is Standard: $69.99, Deluxe: $79.99. The game’s description is due for an update on June 9 at 1pm PDT, so it’s not clear yet exactly what the Deluxe Edition will offer over the Standard. Here’s what it reads so far:

“Battlefield™ Hardline is a first-person action game set against the backdrop of the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals.  Check back on June 9 at 1pm PDT for more information and videos from Battlefield Hardline, including a more detailed description of the bonus content included in the Digital Deluxe edition.”

System requirements have not yet been listed either, but you’ll notice the game’s official box art on the product page, which you can visit here.

Also of note, the full PC version of Battlefield 3 is now completely free on Origin until June 3. You can read more about it here.

UPDATE

Battlefield Hardline is now also listed on Amazon for all platforms. Check it out here.

Battlefield Hardline is on course to be officially unveiled during EA’s E3 2014 media briefing on June 9. Though, Visceral general manager Steve Papoutsis mentioned in a recent note that we may be learning a little more about the game ahead of E3 ‘if fans want it.’

Battlefield Hardline brings the Cops vs. Criminals fantasy to life this Fall on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. You can catch all the details we know so far right here.

69.99 for standard pc edition? Price hike no?

  • Mitch

Whenever I see someone trying sell a digital game for $69.99/€69.99

    • JohnyGPTSOAD

Its 60€ not 70. You can get the digital for 70 however

      • Mitch

€60? Still too much for a digital game IMO.

        • JohnyGPTSOAD

Thats why you buy it through key sites. G2A OKS or kinguin, the 2 later are my favorite the g2a one’s just more known.

        • NuttyTheSquirrel

Digital Deluxe*. EVERY Digital Deluxe game costs more than the normal, since it has more features.

      • Zatara

The “Laws” of Currency Conversion have dictated for years, that these be the MSRP for Video Games: 60 USD, 50 Euros, 40-45 GBP (not sure which). Lately, some greedy-ass Publishers have been bending that (read: Activision – CoD, EA – Battlefield, etc. Ubisoft – Watch Dogs) into 60 USD = 60 Euros, which is a sick joke, & is seriously way too much, since we’ve already been paying more than our overseas brethren at 60 USD = 50 Euros.

On the bright side, at least EA has given up on pushing its games at 70 USD baseline, which was even more pathetically ridiculous.

More in line, LOL at a BF Cops & Robbers game. Seriously Visceral?

        • JohnyGPTSOAD

Its something new… lets wait for 9th of june.

        • Yazzer

For tax reasons, you can’t do a straight currency conversion. Euro prices include sales tax (VAT), and the tax rates in Europe are high (~20%). US dollar prices do not include tax. Sales tax rates range from 0-9% in different states.

This is true whenever they announce game prices or prices for new consoles. Everyone wants to do a straight currency conversion.

Be thankful if you don’t live in Australia. :)

          • Zatara

I agree on the VAT thing (which I find to be a ridiculously stupid, & horribly inflated tax), but excluding Retail Stores which vary in price (also because each country’s VAT varies between 20-23% even), & sticking solely to Steam which has its EU HQ in the UK (20% VAT as of this post), 60.00 on today’s market converted to Euros is just over 44, + 20% (8.8) = 52.8. That’s at a rate of 1.36, which is rather low today. These days USD- Euro is generally found at 1.4, which is easily 50 Euros.

So in the case of Steam at least, where the prices are fixed throughout all Countries using the Euro Currency, you can say without a shadow of a doubt that Publishers are using Straight Conversion to rip us off.

Activision has been doing it for years, now these other twats are trying to overcharge (even more) for their sub-standard games since they think it’s working for them.

  • JohnyGPTSOAD

This cant be real! Checking…. OMG its 60€ here…. that is too much. If one’s smart he could go to G2A or some crap like that and get it for 35.

  • MegaMan3k

    lmfao ea

  • dieger

$70 are you high? you are still using weapons and voice acting from BF4 >_>

    • Mitch

Nah bruv they have Reggie Rowe from Second Son.

  • KillzoneVII

    $70 for standard edition? Wtf?!

    • Mitch

      Explanation

  • Darkthunder

Wasn’t super-inclined to buy the game, and I’m certainly not gonna be buying it at 70/80 USD. I’ll wait 6 months until it ends up in the 10 dollar bargain bins. Hell, Elder Scrolls Online has already had a massive drop (less than 2 months since launch), by over 50%. There is zero justification to charge as much/or more for Digital goods, compared to buying in the physical stores.

  • Bmeowmix

If people wouldn’t pay $70 for a military shooter why would they pay $70 for a police shooter?

  • http://www.twitch.tv/sillycrez SillyCrez

Ok guys, pre order battlefield 6 now, just send your money to my PayPal account.

I can’t believe how you can pre order something you know almost nothing about it.

  • Gigers

funny when our dollar was worth more our prices were the same.

  • http://mp1st.com/ David Veselka

Hey guys, check out the update. I previously listed Canadian prices. US prices are still Standard: $59.99, Deluxe: $69.99. No need to panic, unless you’re Canadian. Then you can grab a hockey stick and get mad.

    • Niosus

      Followed by apologizing repeatedly? 😉

    • theplantain

hey, i happen to like canadians….well, except justin beiber

  • VEX_VEHIX

    That was fast.

    “Leaked” my arse.

    • SamRock

      EA Planned Leak

  • prodgy92

    The trailer is terrible!!!!

  • softgrip

Wait a second… Didn’t bf4 only just get the cte and is still a complete joke on public servers?

  • Tank Buster

Typical EA….. Should have known better

  • Jonah Thrillz

An EA product….. ready for a long beta test?

  • Matt

Well you guys could always pay the Australia price if you don’t like your current price. $89.99 for the Standard Edition, $99.99 for the Deluxe Edition.

    • http://batman.com Nick

      *$79.99 and $89.99 :3

£50 for the standard pc download. They can fuck off lmao. I hope everyone knows DICE is helping out in development. I hope you enjoy your bugs

  • marpla78

Ok…wtf…they are still having problems with their last game and they already put this on pre order?…wow they really have a bad image about the gamers or they are just targeting the idiots?

After BF4 im now a half idiot lol…no more pre order from EA.

    • Grif

Hardline isn’t made by DICE, so they don’t have to worry about BF4’s plague of bugs.

      • marpla78

same engine…same bugs or they did this game on a new engine?

        • Grif

Ya true it still is on Frostbite, but Hardline could have a lot less bugs at launch if Visceral is dedicated to fixing all the bugs before release.

          • marpla78

doubt it…but well hope is the last thing you lose…sry buy i have lost pretty much all the hope with the BF franchise.
