Gears Of War: Judgment – Microtransactions Will Allow Players To Purchase Double XP

In what seems to slowly becoming an industry trend, more and more games are supporting microtransactions, with Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 being one of the most recent. You can now add another game that’s going that same route, as People can Fly’s Gears Of War: Judgment is set to include microtransactions that nets it’s consumers double XP.

Fortunately for those of you who can’t enjoy long or concentrated gaming sessions, you will be happy to know that Epic Games is taking a different route with how double XP is handled. Players can simply apply double XP for a set amount of games, instead of the norm of making double XP active for a set amount time.

If you’re wondering for how much these double XP microtransctions will be available, it comes down to four tiers. 10 matches with double XP active, for example, will cost you a measly 80 Microsoft Points or $0.99 USD, being the cheapest of the bunch. 200 matches worth of double XP, on the other hand, will set you back 800 Microsoft points or $9.99 USD.

In addition, for those who are purchasing the VIP Pass for Gears Of War: Judgment, you will be pleased to know that you will receive permanent double XP. The pass also includes two new game modes, nine exclusive unlocks and six multiplayer maps, which is on sale for 1600 Microsoft Points or $19.99 USD.
