Activision, publisher of the popular FPS series Call Of Duty, is set to introduce in-game purchases to Treyarch’s Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 tomorrow, March 13.

What exactly would Activision be offering with these small transactions? According to Activision’s Dan Amrich, via MVC, Black Ops 2 players can look forward to being able to purchase “either personal customizations or nice little luxuries” starting tomorrow, March 13, for Xbox 360 users.

Thankfully, these items will not have a direct impact on the game as the items that you’ll be able to purchase are mostly aesthetic and completely optional, such as weapon camos, three targeting reticules, and a calling card. It will run you about 160 Microsoft Points or $1.99 USD for each pack, which will include all of the above in each. You’ll also be able to purchase the Flags Of The World card packs for a measly price of 80 Microsoft Points/$0.99 USD. Amrich describes these items as “small, specific ways to enhance your online experience.”

In addition, Activision will also be offering the ability to buy extra custom class slots, scoring you ten extra custom classes as well as a bump on your media storage space for 160 Microsoft Points.

If that doesn’t interest you, those who never got the opportunity to get their hands on the Nuketown 2025 multiplayer map will be able to do so for free. Yes, for free. That’s not all, as the Nuketown Zombie map will also become available as a stand alone purchase tomorrow for the Xbox 360 users first at a price of 400 Microsoft points/$4.99 USD.

Sadly, for those who game on the PlayStation 3, PC, or WiiU will have to wait patiently for the above micro transaction content to be available to you at a later date.
