You’ll get access to three of Ghosts’ most popular game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Rescue, as well as three fan-favorite maps:

  • Strikezone: Set in a baseball stadium in war-torn San Diego, this small map is ideal for close-quarters combat. Complete a field order for an opportunity to call in a KEM strike, which will transform the landscape of the entire map.
  • Warhawk: Taking place in a small American town, this three-lane map caters to many different play styles. The main street can be a convenient rush route, but beware of enemy snipers in the buildings on both ends.
  • Prison Break: Fight in the jungles on this map located outside of a prison. A large hill dominates the central portion of Prison Break, a crucial area for your team to hold in the fight for victory.

Lastly, you’ll also get access to the original Extinction co-op mode.

Are you hopping on this weekend for some Call of Duty time?

    Worst game of the year

    • Angelreborn96

Yet kids love and enjoy the fucking game and play it.. That’s why it’s ranked top 5 PATHETIC. They don’t deserve that spot for this game. Fucking just die out already.

      • MrMultiPlatform

You know the average age of a CoD player is 24 right? I know why you nerds are hating on Ghost. It’s the most balanced to date & you scrubs can’t run & abuse shit in it. What’s more pathetic is that you “adults” cry & cry about it yet you’ll be at the midnight release of the next one.

        • Angelreborn96

No it is not. You can’t even get facts to prove that. So yeah good one. And what’s not to hate about a game that’s so different amongst the other series of Call of Duty’s? This COD has changed so much and it’s made for people who enjoy to play the game the way it is. It’s a new series, duh, they changed a lot of things. Gaming is evolving, and changing. I don’t like this specific Call of Duty title/series because of how the gameplay is. Period. You got a problem with that? Stop being so hateful on people’s opinions on this game. I like the black ops series and the modern warfare series. I do not like the COD Ghosts series. Deal with my opinion. Don’t be all pissy about it.

          • Jason Lane

You’re just now old enough to buy cigarettes. I find you amusing.

            • Angelreborn96

Still people butting in to shit that doesn’t involve you. So mature

            • Jason Lane

Pretty sure this involves me. Nice try Bieber.

            • Angelreborn96

              Goodbye kid.

            • Jason Lane

Somehow I’m still here. How’s this happening?

          • Fps Gamer

The only thing that changes in COD games is maps and gadgets! That game is so pathetic. Now they have snoop dogg voice over in it for a small fee lmao what a gimmick!! This game stoped being good when blk ops 2 droped. They need to take notes from bf4 and start making destruction and more team based game play and vehicles and only then will I be interested in that game again.

        • Guest

The game has bad hit detection, Awful maps designs, and you die really fast even though the maps are bigger compared to past games, Consider the dynamic maps was nothing but a gimmick and overall the game did nothing new and is very dull. Also, the maps are awful again.

          • Angelreborn96

Maps and spawns ruins the whole game. There’s no more run and gun In this series like I said. It’s different. It’s crap. Other people may like and enjoy it but good for them, I sure as hell don’t.

            • Guest

In my opinion bad maps go hand in hand with bad spawns. I can see why you said there is no more run and gun with the maps, But I feel since MW3 all the way up to today the spawns have been bad to eliminate spawn killing and “camping”, That type of ideal in my opinion is very bad for objective mode gameplay, as it make increasingly stupid and dumb to defend objectives, as the guy you just killed will spawn right behind you and your teammates.

            • Angelreborn96

Which is why battlefield is better to me :D

            • Guest

Yeah but Battlefield over the past 2 1/2 years has fallen too, BF3 is bad, and BF4 is just………………………………..

      • James Mulhall

“Yet kids love and enjoy the fucking game and play it” Tut tut, so ignorant. I hope 96 in your name isn’t the year you were born, I don’t think you’re old enough to call people who are most likely older than you ‘kids’.

        • Angelreborn96

          What’s ur hate against me?

          • VEX_VEHIX

14-17 are annoying, but 18 year olds arent? Lol

            • Jason Lane

Haha. Teenagers over dramatize everything in life. These things matter!!!!!!

            • Angelreborn96

This does not concern you. Cya buddy

          • James Mulhall

What’s my hate against you? Oh the irony..

    • VEX_VEHIX

      Next to BF4.

  • Primeee

I’d rather poke needles in my eyes than play Ghosts even if it’s for free

  • MR_H0RNY

    Not worth the download.

  • jrnotaloka

i rather watch paint dry than play that garbage

    • http://IGXGaming.com/ IGXGaming

Straight up, sir. I played the free demo for two games. On the second game, this guy camped upstairs the whole game. Camping on a demo, lol. Deleted that shit. So glad I got rid of that game.

    • MrMultiPlatform

LOL keep hating to make friends boy.

      • KillzoneVII

Maybe he just doesn’t like the game? I don’t either, I sold that piece of garbage.

    • Ryan Schulze

Played two games. Felt like COD to me, which is to say, nothing new entices me to return. Looked better than I expected on PS4. Shocked at how bad the sound design is on the game though. It’s truly awful. There just isn’t any comparison to BF4 or BF3. How can DICE get amazing sound and giant maps onto the 360, but every COD game on every platform sounds like an ancient arcade game?

  • JBeauregard

I’d rather have a catheter placed in

    • VEX_VEHIX

..and out and in and out and in and OUT.

      • JBeauregard

lmao… hey, I’d rather deal with the in/out of a catheter the entire weekend it’s free haha

        • VEX_VEHIX

          Hahaha

  • Jason Lane

I would rather slit my wrist with the sharp pieces of a broken Ghost disk.

  • Ricardo

And let the COD hate comments begin !!

    • Angelreborn96

What’s the problem? Are you gonna be the one to “vote down” my hateful comment on the shitty game? Do it.

      • Ricardo

Lol problem? I don’t have a problem I find the comments funny and more entertaining than the articles. :P You’re the serious one here man. Anyways I agree with you. I haven’t felt like playing COD in a while just seems like a chore rather than a want to play desire.

        • Angelreborn96

Yeah I am the serious one here. And no duh. The game is trash and boring. No fun.

          • Ricardo

            ^_^

      • MrMultiPlatform

        Says the fanboy.

      • Jason Lane

I can’t believe you took the time to type that out. I can’t believe I’m taking the time to reply :(

  • MrMultiPlatform

Look at all the children hating just to be liked.

  • dpg70

I’m going to try it for the same reason i eventually suffered through the movie 2012. I must experience how awful it really is.

    • Ryan Schulze

That’s definitely part of my curiosity. Even my 14 year old nephew stopped playing it and says it’s awful. For a kid that plays nothing but FPSs, it says a lot when he quits. He plays BF4 and PvZ.

      • dpg70

Yeah, its like can it really be that bad? I’m not a huge CoD fan, but I’ve had fun with some of them. Is this one really that bad or are people just sick of more of the same?

        • Ryan Schulze

Probably a little of both. The braintrust behind the game are long gone, so they have people building on that legacy without true innovation. There may be great designers and programmers at Sledgehammer, etc…, but when they are just doing a job and not working on their impassioned project, the results will always be decent, but never great. They need to embrace serious change to keep the series alive and well. The annual sameness will kill the series. Assassins Creed is headed the same way. Though the naval battles and island locale was a huge risk and a great one that alienated some, but pulled in others. That kind of risk really paid off. Maybe COD will do that sort of thing in the future.

          • dpg70

Thoughts? Its pretty bad. Still CoD, but i see what everyone is talking about.

            • Ryan Schulze

You know what, I downloaded it, but played BF4. Maybe Sunday.

            • Ryan Schulze

Finally played last night on PS4. I have to admit that it looked a lot better than I expected. Last COD I played was a couple years ago on the 360. The game was okay. It operated well and seemed fine. I was shocked that I didn’t absolutely suck. Probably so many noobs like me on there, that we were all trying to learn the map and getting shot in the back constantly. Anyway, decent game. It felt like the COD I remember and got bored of playing. I’ll say the thing that stood out the most was the sound design. I’m a sound guy. Spent over a decade crafting audio production for commercial radio and sound is so important to me. The COD Ghosts visuals were acceptable. The sound was awful. Atrocious. Horrible. Comparing it to a BF4 Team Deathmatch with no vehicles isn’t even fair. It’s not a comparison. One game sounds like a military shooter. The other sounds like, I don’t know, an arcade game from the 80′s? So bad. I was surprised by how much that apparently stood out. That is something that will keep me from playing a future COD, until I hear or read that the sound design has taken a generational leap forward. It’s not the system holding the game back there, it’s the designers. BF3 on the 360 sounded amazing, so there’s no excuse (outside of lack of talent) for a COD game on Next Gen to not sound amazing. Or at least decent.

            • dpg70

It was still CoD for sure, which for me means it’s fun for a bit and then I’m bored. I didn’t think it looked particularly “next-gen” and really looked no different than 360/PS3. That was a disappointment. The sound was bad. I’m used to some good directional based sound and it just wasn’t there. Overall it seems a little thrown together. I would never buy it, but I had an hour or two of fun with the demo.

  • Guest

now its gonna be may, shouldn’t we get a date on the reveal trailer on COD 2014? It feels late comparing to past years.

  • Ryan Schulze

I won’t buy the game, but I’ll give it a shot for free. I’ve tried every COD except BO2, so why not.
And I’d be surprised if the bulk of people playing on PS4 are kids. I’m sure there are some, but everyone I know that has a Next Gen system is in their 30s and up. All the teenagers and college kids I know still play the 360.

  • http://www.techmansworld.com/ Michael Hazell

Of course, they wouldn’t choose any of the ridiculous maps either to stick in the demo.

  • VEX_VEHIX

I rather play BF4, oh wait.

  • BifePlays

I will try it out. I need some games to buy for my new console, but i dont even know where to start at.
